So the news is OUT!!!

I have heard from so many of you... THANK YOU and I still CANNOT BELIEVE it!! We are having a girl... it is so crazy! The boys are so hilarious... they got teased by Papa Kemp and dad about playing with dolls with their sister and now they want nothing to do with her!! Colton pretended like he wasn't excited - but he has been bragging to everyone about having a girl! I know they will just love her and protect her when she gets here! The poor thing will be a total spoiled tomboy, we are all so excited!! Jason is excited too.. I don't think he would mind having another boy but I really think he just wanted to give me the daughter that I have dreamed of! YEAH for pink!!!

Stinky Cow Poop!

So it is WINTERTIME here in Arizona! YEAH!! Jason had the daunting task of mowing the grass way low to make space for the new winter seed to sprout! The little boys love to help dad, especially when it comes to throwing black stinky cow poop all over each other! Good thing for helpers... at least i think it is a good thing!

Whewww... glad that is over!!

Now I know the stress all my clients go through for "Family Picture Day!"

I think it is way easier being the photographer than the mom!

Caden's Day...

Today was a rough day for our little Caden...Talon shot him with a broken arrow... I know it looks horrible.... but after an hour in Urgent Care and them telling me it just needs cleaned and a small steri-strip - we were off to the firefighter daddy who "created" this mess! Daddy fixed it just fine, (unless you ask the very irate Caden) but boy was it drama... Poor guy. He will be just fine and YES we took away Talon's homemade bow until he is a little more mature (do you think 18 is old enough??) so note to self.... 4 year olds cannot be trusted to follow rules and play with bows, arrows, guns, fire, sticks, rocks, balls, pretty much anything without adult supervision!

Our baby.... 14 Weeks and 2 Days

This past week has been stressful worrying about my baby... every little thing has put me in a panic mode and I think I finally will be able to get over that a little bit thanks to my ultrasound yesterday! We got to see the little "guy" (still couldn't tell what "he" is!!!) and he had grown so much since last week.. it was crazy! This time we could see his little legs kicking and bending, it was so cute!

Clay Springs Family Reunion

We had our annual Jackson Family Reunion this past weekend and despite the 50mph winds - (maybe not 50mph... but felt like it!) we had a blast!! The kids got to see most of their cousins and play outside the whole time and got filthy! My boys "dream weekend!!"

Here are some highlights!!

Colton got to take chicken eggs right from under the chicken! I think we went back to the coop looking for more at least 5 times! He loved it.. until the rooster started chasing him!!

Talon found his own egg too but his favorite was playing baseball with Uncle Preston and daddy... Or maybe it was shooting his BB gun with Jordan!

First Dr appt and ultrasound...

Went to my first dr appt last Tuesday and had the shock of our lives, We were having twins but one stopped developing at 9 weeks. It was easily the fastest 10 seconds of my life trying to process that much surprising and then devastating news. I have had time now to be able to talk about it and work it out within my heart. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers and I am sorry if I sort of became a recluse, I just needed some time to make sense of it.
